Open Grazing

The cattle are allowed to graze freely in open pastures. This ensures that they have access to a diverse range of natural grass and vegetation, which contributes to their overall health and well-being. Open grazing also allows the cattle to roam and exercise, reducing stress and promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Balanced Diet with Organic Feed

In addition to open grazing, the cattle are provided with a well-balanced diet that includes both wet and dry grass. Wet grass, such as Napier grass, off ers essential nutrients, while dry corn straw and dry paddy provide roughage and additional nutrients. This combination
ensures that the cattle receive a nutritionally complete diet to produce healthy and high-quality milk.

Hand Milking

Throughout the milking process, the health and well-being of the cattle are closely monitored. During hand milking, any signs of discomfort or issues with the udders or milk are observed and addressed promptly. This proactive approach helps maintain the overall health of the cattle and ensures the safety and quality of the milk.

Milking Hygiene

The milking process is conducted with strict hygiene practices. The milker’s hands and equipment used for milking are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each milking session to prevent contamination. This reduces the risk of bacterial growth in the milk.

Thorough Milk Filtering

After milking, the freshly obtained milk undergoes a thorough filtration process to remove any impurities or particles. This step ensures that the milk is clean and safe for consumption.

Careful Bottling and Packaging

Once the milk has been filtered and quality checked, it is carefully bottled and packaged. The bottling process ensures that the milk retains its natural freshness and essential nutrients until it reaches consumers’ homes. The packaging materials are eco-friendly, contributing to sustainable practices and reducing environmental impact.

Prompt Delivery

The bottled milk is delivered promptly within 3 hours of milking to ensure customers receive the freshest and most nutritious product possible.

Handcrafted A2 Ghee

Our a2 ghee is carefully crafted from the milk of our own farm, ensuring the freshest quality. The process begins with setting the milk into curd, followed by hand churning using the traditional bilona method, resulting in rich butter. This butter is then gently heated to create a delightful, aromatic, and grainy ghee.

Pure and Natural Honey Extraction Process

Honey Formation Hive Health Check

The journey to our exquisite honey begins with the bees’ diligent efforts. It takes a span of 45 days for honey to be meticulously crafted within the hive. We prioritize the well-being of our bee colonies, ensuring their overall health, checking for diseases, and assessing hive conditions regularly.

Hive Smoke Treatment

To facilitate safe honey extraction without causing harm to our invaluable pollinators, we employ a thoughtful method. Our beekeepers employ coconut shell charcoal smoke, which gently disarms the bees’ alarm pheromones. This approach ensures a calm environment, allowing us to proceed with the extraction process.

Gentle Bee Removal

With the hive effectively calmed, we use bee brushes to gently and carefully remove any remaining bees from the honeycomb frames. This step is executed with utmost care and respect for the bees’ contribution to the honey-making process.

Uncapping the Honeycomb

To unveil the precious honey within, each honeycomb frame undergoes an uncapping process. Using a sharp knife, we delicately uncap the beeswax, revealing the golden honey beneath.

Honey Extraction

The uncapped honeycomb frames are then placed in our honey extractor. Through a churning process, the honey is separated from the comb and flows through a valve into a collection container below.

Straining for Purity

The freshly extracted honey is a masterpiece, yet it may contain tiny patches of wax, pollen, and other natural particles. To ensure a pure and smooth final product, we meticulously strain the honey, preserving its clarity and texture.

Natural Settling

Following the straining process, the honey is transferred into drums. We believe in allowing nature to take its course, so the drums are kept in the shade for 2-3 days. This natural setting allows any remaining particles to gradually settle, further refining the honey’s quality.

Bottling

Once the honey has undergone its natural settling, it is carefully poured into our glass bottles. These bottles are not only visually appealing but also ensure the honey’s freshness is preserved.

Labeling and Packaging

Our dedication to providing you with the finest honey experience extends to the labeling stage. Each bottle is thoughtfully labeled, showcasing the honey’s taste notes and qualities, a testament to the care and attention poured into every drop.

100% Cold Wood Pressed Cooking Oils

Bottling

Once the honey has undergone its natural settling, it is carefully poured into our glass bottles. These bottles are not only visually appealing but also ensure the honey’s freshness is preserved.

Selection of Premium Seeds/Nuts

At Agruthi farms, our first step involves careful selection of the finest quality, hand-picked food-grade seeds and nuts. We prioritize those that boast optimal nutrient retention, ensuring that the oil extracted maintains its nutritional value.

Thorough Cleaning and Drying

After selection, the seeds/nuts undergo a meticulous cleaning process. Using both manual methods like sieving and hand sorting, we remove any foreign particles. Once cleaned, the seeds/nuts are sun-dried, allowing them to naturally prepare for the subsequent oil extraction.

Gentle Cold Pressing

Using the age-old wood cold pressing technique, we crush the dried seeds/nuts without the application of heat. This gentle and traditional method helps us preserve the essential nutrients, distinct taste, captivating aroma, and rich fl avor of the resulting oil.

Collection and Settling

Once pressed, the freshly extracted oil is collected in containers. During this phase, any impurities or sediment present in the oil settle down naturally.

Careful Filtration

To guarantee a pristine final product, we subject the oil to a meticulous filtration process. This thorough filtration effectively eliminates any residual impurities or particles, ensuring the purity of the oil.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

Our commitment to sustainability extends to packaging. The carefully extracted and filtered oil is bottled and packaged in eco-friendly glass bottles. These bottles not only maintain the oil’s freshness but also align with our values of promoting an environmentally-conscious cooking experience.

The result of our traditional wood cold-pressed method is cooking oils that boast remarkable qualities: 0% trans fats, a composition of healthy fats, and absolutely no additives. By adhering to this process, we aim to off er our customers an exceptional cooking experience, where the natural flavors and nutrients of the oils are fully retained.
